Who will clean?

We work in teams of two or more cleaning experts. The team system is more efficient than a single cleaner. The same maids will clean your home each time if possible.

What will the maids do in my home or office?

We offer a high quality cleaning service in Toronto & Scarborough that will leave your home or office sanitized and shining. Our Cleaning Checklists ensure no detail is overlooked. The maids will leave your space Squeaky Green clean!

What if I want to change / cancel my cleaning day?

Like most professionals, we require 48 hours notice for cancellations or you will be responsible for the full scheduled appointment fee. Although we only require 48 hours notice, we appreciate being notified with as much time as possible in order for us to be able to offer the appointment to someone else. You are welcome to notify us by text or email clean@squeakygreen.ca should you need to cancel or reschedule.

If we carefully schedule our time, bring all of our green cleaning supplies, equipment and staff ready to work, then drive to your home, but are locked out, that is the same as cancelling without any notice at all and is subject to full payment.

What about my pets?

Squeaky Green maid service needs to know if your pets are free to go outside or not (as most do not enjoy the sound of a vacuum). Anxious pets will need to be secured before we arrive so we can safely do our jobs.

Do you offer monthly cleaning?

We don't hold monthly spots in our schedule anymore. Instead, simply contact us to book your cleaning when you are about ready and we will be happy to schedule you in. Based on years of experience, we have decided that professional cleaning only 12 times per year fits into the “Occasional” category, which is charged the full price. It’s the same cost as a One Time flat rate cleaning because after that long without professional cleaning the home requires significantly more effort and resources to clean. We are happy to help!

When will the maids come to clean?

We work Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. If you want to change your time slot, simply email, text or call our office with at least 48 hrs notice, so we can adjust our schedule to meet your individual needs.

Do frequent customers get a better deal?

Yes, customers who receive recurring service are rewarded with substantial discounts. Occasional or One-time customers pay the full price, but customers who choose to hire our cleaning service on a weekly or biweekly (every other week) basis enjoy a 10% discount. Customers who utilize our cleaning service twice per week are entitled to a 15% discount and daily service gets 20% off.

Is there anything I need to do before the cleaning?

Please spend a little time the night before the maid service arrives, to tidy up clutter. We don't know where your possessions belong. Put away clothes, toys, papers, dishes, etc. This allows us to devote our time to scrubbing, vacuuming, & dusting, which provides you better value for each visit.

Do I need to be there during the cleaning?

Most customers are not home when we clean, but if you prefer to be there, we will schedule a time that is mutually convenient. All keys are marked for identification with a code (no address or customer name is used) & locked away when it's not your cleaning day.

How do I get regular maid service started?

How do you monitor the quality of the maid service?

To serve you better, we conduct spot inspections to ensure our high quality standards are maintained. We will also occasionally e-mail you to ask for your feedback, and to rate your satisfaction on the quality of the maid service you received. You may also use this opportunity to let us know how you liked our maid service & make suggestions for future cleanings.

How is payment handled?

We accept cash, e-transfers and money orders. We no longer accept personal cheques.
